Forest

The average rainfall of the area varies from 800 to 1000 mm per annum and the main crop in district Narowal is wheat. Narowal is a densely populated district with a forest particularly along River Ravi and Indian Border called Bela Forest. Wildlife

Bela forests supports a diverse wildlife including nilgai, chinckara, wild boars etc. Wolves, foxes and wild cats are also found in this forest. Hare is fairly common while chikor grey and black partridge are also found in the parts of the district. Migratory ducks like teal pintail, mallard and some geese visit during winter.
